Covid testing

My wife had to have a procedure done at Mayo Clinic .the doctor required that a covid test be done. She then went to the closest station STEMPATH . She was shocked to see the result which said she is positive as she had absolutely no symptoms. This required that the procedure had to be postponed. After submitting the claim for R850 Bonita’s informed me that the claim was rejected and according to them my wife was negative for covid,and further informed me that they only validate tests done by a pathologist and subsequently said they will not pay for the test.I find this alarming to discover that these independent testing stations are not considered reliable and they only accept tests done by pathologists. This needs to be investigated ,as it is a serious concern when a major med fund will not acknowledge them
