CHRONIC PATIENT RECIEVES DISGUUSTING TREATMENT

To me someone who needs medication on a daily basis as well as treatment from a specialist pertaining to your illness! No ...Bonitas beggs to differ. So your specialist gives you a script for meds that he/she feels you need but the medical aid wont cover, why ? Cause they feel you dont need it ! You are kidding me right? Anyhoo so you have a set back and you hacve an operation and the Specialist wantys to see you in 6 months times . Wait a minute you got specialist authorisation that last for 6 months but you have to get another specialist authorisation if you visit the Dr for a follow up! Now you the patient that has gone for a follow up needs to pay the huge dr's bill as the medical aid did not pay it and say they wont as you need to get authorisationn . what utter bull.?????? !!!!!! you are a chronic heart patient but a cardiologist is not a DR listed on your treatment plan so what do you have to see a vet! I am so peeved as my parents are elderly and get a goverment pension which just about covers the monthly premium. so what the point if the medical doesnt cover thier basic needs.</p>
