CHRONIC MEDS ALWAYS AN ISSUE!!!

August 2017, I emailed an updated 6 month repeat script to Bonitas but never reached pharmacy direct! I resent that same fax and only a 2 month supply of the 6 was issued. In the interim we paid cash for meds even though we pay for medical aid!

In January 2017, my 73yr old dad went again to get a repeat script for his blood pressure meds. This time, I emailed to both Bonitas and pharmacy direct to make sure.

A few days ago, my dad receives a call from pharmacy direct stating he needs to pay X amount for his medication.

My complaint, since when do you request payment via calls when it should be invoiced and clearly shown where the shortfall is? How do I know its not a ****? Be it R5 or R50, I want an invoice for the amount you want me to pay!

Its now 2020, I'm still having the same problem with Pharmacy Direct and Bonitas fails to assist! My parents are Boncap members and pay Bonitas diligently but getting there chronic meds are always a nightmare!
