Choosing money over a baby's life

I am so dissatisfied in Bonitas Boncap Medical fund, I've been with them for two years , now that I am pregnant I needs them , on 15 April 2025 I've been diagnosed with Cervical insufficiency and my Dr put me on medication to help keep the cervix strong , went to the pharmacy they don't cover the medication, I understand it's a limited fund , nonetheless my Dr wrote a motivation letter for the medical aid to help pay for the tablets until my pregnancy journey is done , everything is submitted I don't hear anything from them , my broker and me are following up daily but no success, I've been paying this medication out of my pocket for the last two months where I can't even afford it I've been borrowing the money just to keep my baby alive and from not being born prematurely.

I've come to a point where I think bonitas is choosing money over a baby's life , when I call them the chronic department is so rude they just advise that they don't cover the condition its not life or death.

So I'm asking even if I'm not on a big plan with bonitas are they so heartless and just not bothered to help a baby being born healthy.

I'm so tired and dissatisfied with them that I'm at a point where I want to move medical aids.
