Cancer Biopsies are apparently not classified as an oncology procedure?

In April 2021 I was diagnosed with melanoma by the Dermatologists after I found some suspect growths, the dermatologist then went on to follow the procedure of having a biopsy tested, and with the positive result sending me for surgery. About six weeks after the operation I returned to the dermatologist to have another biopsy done and tested. Bonitas then stopped paying my accounts saying I have run out of day to day funds, and after calling them and mailing them numerous times they advised that these expenses were supposed to be processed on my oncology benefits and that all accounts need to be re-submitted once they have approved the oncology benefit. They approved the oncology benefits and requested that the re-submitting take place so they can reverse the costs from my day-to-day and pay it out through the oncology benefit. Now, months down the line, they only paid one account from oncology, they still have not corrected the funds they took out of my day-to-day, and they are refusing to pay for testing of biopsies for cancer from the oncology fund as " this does not fall under oncology" No amount of calliing or mailing is getting my bills paid or the correction is done, even though they keep on promising to correct this " in five business days" I am at wits end with their total lack of customer service and lack of any knowledge of medical terms and procedures, I will be going on the contact the medical fund ombudsman and move my medical aid to another fund as I cannot pay a medical aid every month only to be stuck with thousands of rands worth of bills because they cant do their job!
