Can I have a refund of my upfront R1600 back

I'm so disappointed and very angry at how Bonitas handled my claims without proper explanation. Bonitas terminated my medical aid on the 30th of December whilst I had an upfront premium paid. Apparently it was terminated by Lorraine, I'm so disappointed that till today no one cares to tell nor explain to me as to where did the R1600 that was paid upfront happened to it because I paid double premium on December for the month of December and January but instead they decided to terminate, ohk atleast tell me what happened to the upfront of R1600 that was paid because now I'm left with medical bills to pay.

Can I atleast have a refund then because clearly there's nothing I can do. Can I have my R1600 refund
