Bonsave rendered useless in 2023

The Bonsave option now been limited to network suppliers. Bonitas increased the premiums by 9% this year (the highest increase across all the bonitas medical aid options) and have decreased the services drastically. And let's not forget to mention according to your network list on your website there are NO GPs supported on the Bonsave network- I selected a network hospitals last year (Sandton Mediclinic) for the delivery of my baby only to be told this year when applying for authorization that the hospital is now no longer covered on my medical aid this year.

When calling the call center today I was advised by Sandy that the Bonsave option now follows guidelines according to government hospital practices - so you are telling me I pay money to a private medical aid to get treated as I would at a government facility? This is a joke right?

I spoke to 2 other people on the Bonsave option and they say they were not made aware of this change. I havnt received this communication aswell.

So stress me out while pregnant and don't pay for any doctors for me to see and cause me to lose my baby so they dont need to cover birthing costs and hospital bills, I'm paying a ridiculous amount of money for a medical aid I cannot make use of now. Great job *****ing peoples money Bonitas 👏
