Bonnitas terrible customer service and horrible benefits

I took my son to the dermatologist which does not take medical aid - I therefore paid R650 and sent Bonnitas the claim for my refund. They want to refund me R321 because apparently that is the medical scheme rate. I was on liberty whiched merged with Bonnitas and went to the same dermatologist - I had no problems claiming and getting my full refund. What dermatologist in the world charges R321 - really now!!!!! plus I have plenty day to day available. We pay so much premium for medical aid I refuse to accept this.

If I dont get my full refund from Bonnitas I am leaving this medical aid and taking my business elsewhere. You would think that Bonnitas is a big and better medical aid then Liberty but they offer way less for much more money. Plus customer service is not there strong point. When I called in the agent I spoke to was trying to convince me to just accept this and said there are no managers available for me to speak to as they all went home. Plus he cant guarantee if they will phone me back. Wow!!!!!

Wow I call Bonnitas now only to find out my claim is now fully rejected because I had to go to the doctor for a letter to first go to the dermatologist. WTH. Seriously....I know my son has eczema....so when it got infected and really bad I had to go to the dermatologist. If I had gone to the doctor I would have only got an appointment for the dermatologist in the new year....that would have been too late. He would have been seriously sick. Bonnitas managers are also never available to speak to. They either never there or in a meeting. Clearly dont care about there customers or our well being especially that of our kids. I will be looking around to change my medical aid....this is ridiculous. I didnt have these issues when I was with Liberty. The merge with Liberty and Bonnitas was the worst move ever!!!!!!! I am so upset.
