Bonitas terrible medical aid

What’s the point.of a medical aid if it won’t cover certain costs? My mother who’s 70yesrs of age happened to get sick and we took her to a nearby private hospital, only to find out that it’s not part of the network of hospitals. When the hospital makes arrangements to transfer her to the correct hospital the medical aid delays and stresses the fact that they don’t cover transfer cost and we’re liable for the payment. Note that my mother pays R4000 a month to this medical aid, that’s almost R50k per annum and they can’t cover transfer costs of about R2400 to transfer her, I’m beyond disappointed.
