How is it ethical for Bonitas to suspend an account without notice when a new dependent is added and the additional premium paid the same day?

The proof of payment is sent and calls and emails logged.

So when a new dependent is added, it basically means the rest of the family will be without cover until the credit department feels to allocate the payment, irrespective of prescriptions to be filled or having doctor's appointment.
