Bonitas questioned Nephrogist treatment
From May 2014 our Nephrologist were writing motivation letters regarding specific medication for my son who is a renal failure patient with type 1 diabetes. The name of this drug is Sensipar and accordding to Bonitas I am not on an option to apply for that benefit. However they will fund another drug called RENVELA which is less expensive than Sensipar. This info was given to the Nephrologist and she submitted a motivation for RENVELA to Bonitas. Now, today 14 Augustu 2015 I have received a letter from Bonitas DECLINING RENVELA!!! What the must I do now. My son's life is depending on this drug. What must I do? Report them to HSCPA and Medical Scheme funders.
