Bonitas - Putrid customer service

1. Contacted Hippo for Medical Aid assistance 2. received 3 quotes, decided on Bonitas for myself and my 2 daughters 3. my current medical aid would expire ***2 4. i have uninterrupted medical aid for several years 5. mistake number 1 they only confirmed for myself and 1 daughter, i followed up and told that this was now resolved 6. the Bonitas underwriting letter (QID 040123QGDVY0)stated that i would be covered 100% for the first 3 months 7. Aliche Pelser from Curemed, thought it was a mistake 8. today i was told that it might be because i am over 45 and high risk. Might be. No cer*****y. 7. I have been waiting for 3 days to understand why? I am scared this will impact me should i decide to now go with another medical aid due to Bonita's poor customer service, of why i was warned. MI***

Reason for conditional underwiting : Kindly note that as per the Bonitas scheme rules and underwriting policy, the underwriting decision is made based on the information received - the completed application form and the copies of the certificate of memberships from previous medical aid covers. is this clear to anyone? i will be paying the full fee but not receiving the ful cover?

Hi Still no response from Bonitas?
also, will i be able to claim for the first 3 months that they have excluded at the end of the exclusion period?
all my colleagues do not understand why the exclusion period was app**** when there was no interruption to my medical aid membership and that it is based on my age. something which was not specifically mentioned when i first made my enquiries.

This has been the worst 5 months of my Medical Aid history.
I have submitted complaints via Bonitas Twitter, Instagram, email, telephone, app, whatsapp and very few of these channels either work or do i get any response from.
Latest issue:
Birth control apparently is not seen as being part of preventative care, but rather chronic medication.
Which means that I have to register on Pharmacy Direct+ get a new script + (the old one is with Clicks)+upload to the Pharmacy Direct website +had trouble uploading a copy+emailed for assistance to upload script provided+received multiple sms'es confirming "receipt of my document"/glitch in the system, lastly i received an email rejecting my script because it does NOT qualify to be chronic medication!
