Bonitas pays less than government care would cost

Seriously! Another pathetic payout AGAIN! They payout R114 for a midwife, you can't even get a midwife at a government hospital for that amount (R140 is the going rate) The going rate for a midwife is around R450. I used a Bonitas prefer Gynea I had to pay R2500 directly and claim back. Our payout is R528. What the hell do we need to do to get a decent payout?!? We where told you up until an amount of R1700, so please tell is that for! I have gone the most cost effective way to have a baby and used the network provided service providers where ever possible and still the cost implications to us are massive! I'm paying for a private medical experience but they can't even payout the cost of what government, public health services would charge! What other surprises am I in for?! Is my birth even going to be covered in full as per my benefit or are you going to come out with another "surprise" for us? This is the worst experience I've ever had with a medical aid! It's disgusting, please friends take your money and business somewhere else. Bonitas is a joke, rather choose another medical aid, I know im leaving at the end of the year.
