BONITAS, MONEY OVER LIFE!!!

I am absolutely disgusted with the "service" we are receiving from Bonitas. My father has been with Liberty then amalgamated by Bonitas for over 20 years & he has always been on the highest plan. He is currently in heart failure & has been in & out of hospital (ICU & High Care) with lung infections & not being able to breathe due to this since last year December & is currently in hospital. His cardiologist has recommended that he needs to get a Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator as his heart is not functioning as it should be & is causing all these problems that he is suffering with. Bonitas is refusing to pay for this & say that he needs to wait another year. He might not have another year to live! When did money become a priority before somebody's life & as mentioned he is on the most expensive plan! It's costing more money having him in & out of hospital on numerous occasions than just paying for the damn procedure, which we have been told is going to cost us R250 000. What is the point of having a medical aid when they are refusing to pay for such a critical procedure & literally shortening his life!! I have 6 employees & their families, including myself with Bonitas at my company & we contribute over R700 000 a year & at the moment I'm on the verge of cancelling everyone's medical aid & moving them to a more reliable medical aid that actually pays for your needs! BONITAS WHERE ARE YOUR PRIORITIES, MONEY OVER LIFE!!!
