My 6 year old last year had a ruptured appendix. He was operated on Tuesday and we stayed in hospital for observation. His condition did not improve and the lab tests they were doing daily kept going up and on the Thursday he was taken back to theater to be cleaned again. He recovered after the second operation. Challenge now the medical aid rejected the second procedure. I have been in communication with Med Aid trying to get them to pay to no success.
