Bonitas medical fund is guilty of many atrocities now! Including gender based decrimination and chronic illness decrimibation, now basically blocking off a loyal member from seeing a gynaecologist and not wanting to pay for things!

Bonitas are advertising falsely, they chop and change consultants on their app who also give contradictimg information, they are quick to increase and take money from consumers/members but won't assist in paying for something they clearly state in Their guidelines that each female member can go to the gynaecologist once per annum without a referral letter. Now they suddenly come up with excuses that it's a specialist, that my day to day funds are depleted, my specialist funds are depleted, and when one consultant gets sick of chatting to you on the app to resolve the matter, they don't read the chat history, they copy paste scheme rules I stead of helping and then drop you. And then a new consultant comes on... This is gender based exclusion and decrimibation!!!! This also goes against all the Consumer acts! Their conduct has been so disgusting today! I pay over R2200 a month and I have to Co pay or fully pay for EVERYTHING!!! There's always an excuse or loophole being used to not help members! Then, o. Top of THIS, SARS has "difficulty" in refunding these funds because I bet they believe I'm a total idiot for staying with Bonitas who takes my hard earned money and pays for so little!!!!!
