Bonitas Medical aid unfair practices

I am extremely disappointed with Bonitas, I am a new member and not even one month into membership and I am *****ed over. I app**** for medical aid and agreed to take the Primary Select option at R4605 per month for a family of 4. I now get a debit order of R5453.25 and am told that this will be my new monthly installment going forward?? I understand about the whole "late joining fee" but how on earth do you justify R848.25 extra EVERY month. Nobody at any stage of my application gave me any amount or warning that this would be the amount. Why is the "late joining fee" not discussed and a figure given before the members are signed up, is this the type of unfair operation you are proud of? I have been unemployed for over a year, I finally land a job and I make a budget for medical aid and then Bonitas does this to me, now it will cost me even more to go and find a new medical aid and start all over again. Disgusted!!
