Bonitas Medical Aid refuses to help

My daughter is unemployed with a baby on Boncap. in January I supp**** them with affidavit of non-employment for the second time and asked them to send me whatever other forms they need us to complete. This was after they attempted to collect almost R2,500 in January instead of about R500-00, which was not honoured, resulted in other unpaid debits and I paid them for January, asking them and the broker to please confirm new contribution.<br> <br> Long story short, they attempted to collect R2,400 + plus R2004 at the beginning of Feb, whereas the contribution is just on R500-00 per month.<br> <br> Many mails later, no phone call from them or my broker, they now inform me that they will not be adjusting the contribution and I can only apply for lower (not employed) fees for 2017.<br> <br> Their debits resulted in other debit orders to bounce at a cost of R115-00 each - 2 x in January and 4 x in February.<br> <br> I am now going report this to the Council for Medical Aids and insist that all excess contributions as well as unpaid debit fees be refunded to me. I have also instructed them to cease the medical cover and not to deduct any further contributions, or I will report theft.
