BONITAS MEDICAL AID -

<p>The take over from Liberty Medical by Bonitas, has in my opinion been an absolute disaster and if the service I have had so far from Bonitas is what is is to be expeceted then I am afraid I shall be looking for an alternate medical aid provider. After twenty years with Liberty and paying for their top medical benefit to now be handed to this bunch of bufoons at Bonitas who hide behind computers and call centre telephones and that ignore customer requests and dont allow you access to senior management is not an organisation one should be handing control of your health benefits.</p> <p>Either Bonitas, is so large and cumbersome that customer service is simply not acheivable or managment is another gravy train managment system who has no concept to the importance their customer should demand.</p> <p>The change over from Liberty to Bonitas has:</p> <p>Resulted in me being sent Bonitas medical aid cards with incorrect memebership numbers. Two hours of phone calls and speaking to supposed team leader Sammy Kotsi who PROMISED to get two new cards couriered to me as I am not prepared to wait for the South Africa Mail system to either loose or take weeks to deliver and as this is a BONITAS ERROR I do expect them to accept responsibility and arrange a replacement by courier. Thus far Bonitas failed to cummunicate and confirm like she said would be done within an hour....further calls to the call centre and asking for managment were unsuccesful as mamangment supposedly do not deal with their customers. As a premium Boncomprehensive benefit member and paying a substantial premium, the service thus far and by all indication which will continue has left me no option but to publicise and now investigate an alternate service provider ...maybe Fedhealth or Discovery treat their customers with greater respect. Please be warned of my experience and if you do not demand any customer support or service they may be worth considering...for me, colours have been shown and found to be lacking in all aspects.</p>
