Bonitas is the Absolute Worst! AVOID Them Like the Plague That They Are!!!

<p>I am utterly DISGUSTED by the lack of service and all the LIES received from Bonitas. I feel completely hoodwinked. I was promised heaven and earth before joining the scheme, only to learn now, that all of that was just LIE after LIE after LIE.<br /><br /></p> <p>I was promised that my GP’s consultations would be covered by Bonitas – but I am now paying out of my own pocket!!!! <br />I was told that prescribed medication would be covered by Bonitas – only to get to the cashier and find out that I am now liable for paying for this too!!<br /><br /></p> <p>After following all of the correct channels to see one of the Specialist Physicians on Bonitas’ very limited list of Specialists, I had to PAY IN CASH his consultation fee of R750!!!! What kind of joke is this!!!<br /><br /></p> <p>I followed all of your 10 000 steps. I went to my GP - which I ALSO had to PAY for. I received a referral for the Specialist. We chose a Specialist specifically from your very limited list of Specialists. We called you to obtain an authorisation number for the Specialist. Only after receiving this, did I make an appointment with the Specialist. I did everything according to your very specific guidelines – only to have to pay the FULL consultation fee of R750 out of MY VERY OWN POCKET!!!! <br /><br />Absolutely SICKENED by you people!!! What is the point of having a medical aid policy if you people refuse to pay for anything!!!</p> <p><br />Now, you actually have the audacity to REJECT my CT scan!!!! Your Bonitas brokers/consultants assured me that all CT scans would be covered in full!!! One of the benefits of my plan is that all CT scans will be covered in full. You have **** yet again!!!</p> <p><br />Bonitas is the absolute worst! You have NOT COVERED A SINGLE MEDICAL EXPENSE OF MINE, yet you have no problem deducting my premium of R2200 so promptly every single month!!!</p> <p>This medical aid scheme is nothing more than a moneymaking scheme!!!</p> <p><br />BE WARNED!!! You will end up spending more money by being a member of Bonitas, than you have ever spent in your entire life. Being a member of this scheme, has cost me the most money that I have ever spent on medical bills!!!</p> <p><br />If you are a potential Bonitas member or if you are in the process of shopping around for a new medical aid scheme, do yourself a favour and AVOID Bonitas like the PLAGUE that they are. You will save yourself a ton of money and heartache. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!</p>
