Bonitas is illogical and impractical

Because of my age and heart problem (I am 83) it was decided to do a bilateral wrist Carpal Tunnel operation. This double operation on the same day saved Bonitas paying for a second hospital admission and associated costs such as anesthetic and surgeon fees. I am a comprehensive Bonitas member and obtained approved for the two operations to be done, one after the other. When it came to payment, Bonitas only paid half of everything. I phoned a very helpful Call Centre and they gave me an extra authorization number and asked that I resubmit the accounts with the extra authority. They have still not paid the Anesthetist, so I have had to pay R4111.10 of the R7370.00 account.
