Bonitas ignore senior citizen plead for help and leave them without medical cover.

I am writing this review to expose Bonitas for their poor management. My Parents are both 75 years old and have been on Bonitas now for years. They cannot afford the current plan (Primary) they are on anymore and have requested to downscale to Boncap. Failing to get this right, I took over in May trying to assist them. I have submitted the Option change forms so many times already in May. Since Monday, 8 June, I have been phoning Bonitas ***) every day following up with ref calls ***8 / ***8 / ***8 and all of these people have promised to escalate the issue. Someone was supposed to phone me back yesterday, but nothing. My mother was promised that someone would phone her 3 weeks ago - nothing!

I have re- sent the Option change forms and request again this week (I think I have now sent it to them about 10 times!) Received a refference on the 8 June *** - Up to today, no one has even attempted to contact us.

My parents dont have access to their cronic medication. My mother was admitted to The Bay hospital for a treatment by Dr Kelling, just to be informed that their medical aid has been suspended. Here we are waiting to change option plans and Bonitas suspends their membership, after so long, and still taking payment every month!

I am desperate to re-instate their medical aid and require the senior complaints officer to contact me. My parents do NOT have the R6400 a month to pay the Primary option, so this amount CANNOT go off on their account again.

This needs to be sorted out today
