Bonitas forcing use of useless Pharmacy Direct
My chronic PMB medications should have been sent to me on the 27th August. I have not received any medications to date. I have life threatening conditions of Insulin dependent diabetes and Heart problems. I have phoned Pharmacy direct and Bonitas to get my medications sent and they still have not been sent. I have had to borrow medication and now despite my calls to pharmacy direct and Bonitas on 3 occasions I still haven't received any medication.
Bonitas is endangering my life by forcing me to acquire my medication from the totally *********** Pharmacy Direct which has delivered my medications late on quite a few occasions. If I procure my medicines locally at my Clicks pharmacy I never have any problems. This I did without ANY problems for MANY years before I joined Bonitas. It is completely unacceptable that Bonitas is forcing me into this life threatening situation. My medication that I have borrowed needs to be returned and I am now completely without Insulin and other vital medicines. Do I need to book myself into hospital with a blood sugar of 35 mmol because of no Insulin in order to acquire medication? I am a pensioner on a tiny pension and already have to pay out of my meager pension to pay for meds that Bonitas refuse to pay for. I cannot afford to go to the pharmacy and purchase my undelivered monthly meds because of Pharmacy Direct not delivering the said medicines.
I have declared a dispute with Bonitas now.

Bonitas should have followed this up and made sure I got my medications when I contacted them mid last week after receiving no joy from Pharmacy Direct. I have just had a phone call from FEDX to tell me that they will deliver my medications at 9.30 tonight.
Why has my dispute not been acknowledged and attended to? Pharmacy Direct is the WORST pharmacy that I have ever dealt with and I cannot understand why Bonitas is sullying their name by forcing people to exclusively use Pharmacy direct when there are far more efficient alternatives such as Clicks pharmacy etc. The fact that Pharmacy Direct has an average rating of 1.6 over 602 reviews and a net promoter score of -46 on hellopeter speaks for itself!
