Bonitas for what? if it doesn't even cover emergency care? USELESS!!

My wife and two young boys are with Bonitas "Medical" Scheme. She recenlty had to be rushed to emergency care and treated. Once released she was told to visit a specialist without hesitation as the emergency care unit was not equipped that night to help her (Pvt Hospital). We both went through to the specialist the following day and an emergency on-table procedure had to be done. It took no longer than 5min but was an instant relief to her. Medication was then prescribed and off we went. Both the hospital and doctor submitted the claims after the known co-payment was paid at the specialist. She has now received claim notices showing that basically nothing was covered at all, claiming that the emergency medication that came in the form of a drip and a pill was not covered (not PMB). Even somethings as small as a bandage that was charged R3 difference that needs to be paid. The medical aid goes up a stupid amount and so does hospital equipment/consumables, but they keep the scheme prices the same. What kind of subterfuge company is this?

Its widely know that doctors have to motivate even for life changing operations, more and more push-back by the medical aids is disgusting and I have proof of this! Tangible proof that Bonitas and others are refusing operations that last year where possible to "easy" to have done.

Sort these bills out, Bonita's is meant to be her cover yet she will now be out of pocket thousands! This is a sham and its getting worse.
