Bonitas Fails a Patient
Shocking service from Bonitas around getting hospital authorisation for an urgent medical procedure for our son
Two weeks of back and forth lodging the request, no feedback, poor treatment
Procedure is booked for tomorrow and two weeks later there’s still no commitment from the fund.
Unbelievable what we have to go through in a time of need when you diligently pay your monthly medical bills.

26 Oct 2020, 07:47How is it amicably resolved when my son missed his hospital admission data because of your delayed processing of the authorization request?
Secondly, how do you reject a request for a medical procedure when you have been presented with preceding medical tests and scans which depict clearly what his condition is and when the time comes to have the procedure undertaken you simply reject it on the basis that:
“Medical condition not clearly defined”
How about calling and requesting more information instead of a hard rejection? A child’s life is affected here and you’re not coming to the party
