BONITAS EMPLOYEES UNSYMPATHETIC

On Saturday the 3rd of January 2015 my daughter fell of her bike and broke her arm. We immediately went to the Network Doctors( you can check the claim you received) and they said there is nothing they can do as the Radiologists are closed for the weekend. The Network Doctors said we had to go to Kuilsriver Hospital (which is the Network Hospital) . She was examined by one of the ER doctors and he referred her to X-Rays. I phoned Bonitas this morning to enquire why the Hospital Fee and the Radiologists and the cast were not paid. If the Network Doctors could help us they would have paid the Radiologists and the Cast anyway.The lady at the Bonitas Call Centre said to me that we must only go the ER if it is an emergency. Is this the way Bonitas treats their members? Expecting that you must go through a whole weekend with a broken arm? As the lady at the call centre does not reconise a broken arm as an emergency? I am really disappointed about this and really hope this is the view of an employee and not of Bonitas.
