BONITAS DISAPPOINTS

I changed employers half-way through the year and was unaware that I had overspent (R3,000) my savings, relative to the amount of time spent in the Bonitas fund. They tried to advise me by using my old work email address. Stupid. Of course it would bounce. They may have tried to call but those calls come through as spam so those calls get ignored. But they had my cell phone number so could have WhatsApped or SMS'ed me to give me context. That didn't happen. Eventually I took a call from a debt collection attorney firm who advised that I had been handed over by Bonitas and immediately threatened me with judgement and credit record defaults by a robotic person who wasn't interested in how it happened. Of course I settled it which is what I would have done if I had known about it in the first place. Not convinced Bonitas gives a damn about members. Just making money.
