Bonitas disappointment

I was on Liberty Medcare who sold to Bonitas. I was told that I would get the same benefits. Now I need a laminectomy and Bonitas tell me I can't get it on my plan (Hospital Standard), I had a laminectomy when I was with Liberty so I would assume the Bonitas Plan was the same. I have to suffer the pain or pay for it myself. They say I must upgrade and then there is a pro-rata benefit, all medical aid verbiage. I don't know what to do but I am really sorry that I belong to this crowd. My advice to people seekung medical cover "Join Discovery".
