BONITAS DECLINING STATING INCORRECT PROCEDURE.

RE: BARABARA FARAH_BONITAS MEDICAL AID MEMBERSHIP NUMBER: ***<br> <br> I am writing this letter for some assistance from The Council for Medical Schemes.<br> My Wife Barbara Claire Farah Date of Birth 06 January 1973 who is a dependent on my medical which is Bonitas, which is under Membership Number *** dependent Code 02.<br> Barbara Claire Farah is a Diabetic Type II and is on the Bonitas CDE program for Diabetes. <br> My Wife Barbara Claire Farah has been diagnosed with a massive Apron which is affecting:<br> 1. Is Diagnosed as a Deformity of the Abdominal Wall <br> 2. It Causes Severe Skin Maceration and infections (and this is a major hazard to her Diabetic Condition)<br> 3. The Doctor is concerned about it developing Fornier's Gangrene due to infection.<br> This also causes her to have:<br> 1. Severe back ache <br> 2. Trouble Breathing when lying down and sleeping as well as,<br> 3. Been unable to sit correctly. <br> A full motivation alongside photographs were sent to Bonitas medical aid from Dr. Richard Halley Stott, and no matter what pictures have been presented, nor motivation, Verbal and written, The Medical Aid would not Authorise as they state it is Liposuction and not life threatening and cosmetic there
