Bonitas declines initial authorized usage of mesh after completion of operation

Bonitas issue authorization for hernia operation, also authorize usage of mesh for up to R8940,after operation bonitas declined payment of mesh which were used R3890.

Bonitas authorized hernia operation, after the operation they declined payment of R3890 for mesh which initially were authorized for R8940. On enquiring Wrt to the none payment after receiving bill from hospital, bonitas wanted a doctor's letter as Dr in his professional capacity deemed it not necessary for radiology report as he diagnosed the hernia through physical examination. The letter were fetched from the Dr and submitted to bonitas, yet no payment to hospital. Enquiring again now bonitas wanted a letter from the hospital verifying that the mesh were actually used, the letter were submitted but yet no payment, next they now want a radiology report to determine payment which they have known the Dr did not request as his letter also stated that he didn't deem it necessary as his physical examination were sufficient in his professional capacity. Still bonitas insisted they can only review PMB with radiology report but they have Dr's letter as well proof of procedure and usage of mesh from hospitals surgical theater.
