Bonitas deadbeat

My wife had taken out membership with Bonitas and they app**** a late joiner penalty. They want to use ************ tactics and yet late joiner penalties should only be app**** to those who had never been on a medical scheme

Please advise how you can state a break in service between 1999 and 2001. Late joiner penalties were only introduced in the latter part of 2001. Also there was no break in service as I was on my husband’s medical aid namely Netcare of which proof was sent to yourselves. You state that that I had a break in service since 2018 to 2023
You are very wrong as I was still on Bonitas until March 2019 under my husband as main member and app**** and was accepted in 2022 when I app**** for Bonitas cover again that would be a 3 year absence and not 5 as you state.
I once again request that you remove and waiver the late joiner penalty. Also if a late joiner penalty is going to be imposed it's 5% and not the 25% you stipulate.
