Bonitas costing me more money with new requirement

<p>I have been seeing my psychiatrist for years now and this morning I was informed that I need a referral number from my GP, otherwise Bonitas will not cover the cost.</p> <p> </p> <p>This means that I need to make another urgent appointment at my GP and hope that I can be seen, just to get a number. </p> <p> </p> <p>My gripe is that this will incur ADDITIONAL costs, on top of an exorbitantly high price paid to the specialist. </p> <p> </p> <p>Now, I understand that this is a new policy and I can stand on my head and recite Jack and Jill until Zuma resigns, but nothing will come of it.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am forced to be on this absolutely terrible medical aid by my employer and I just want to say to people who are looking to join a medical aid, STAY AWAY from Bonitas. They do not fully cover my chronic medication and I pay a lot of money monthly additional to my already very expensive premium. Now I will incur extra costs due to an idiotic policy.</p>
