Bonitas - Breaking the law

It is clear that Bonitas has NO REGARD for the law or its members.

I have a chronic disease on the PMB list and Bonitas still refuses to pay for the medication I need. The Regulations of the Medical Schemes Act 131 of 1998 states that that all medical aids must pay, in full, all costs related to the diagnosis, treatment and care of all PMB conditions and that it applies to ALL medical plans. Whilst Bonitas is breaking the law, I am without the medication that I need. The longer I wait for the medication I need, the more damage this disease will cause to my joints.

My disease has left me depressed and on temporary disability.

We have written to the Medical Council and lodged a complaint as you are breaking the law!!
