BONITAS BONCAP FAILS US YET AGAIN

Yet again Bonitas are ******ing this member *** around. After literally weeks of trying to find an orthopaedic surgeon who operates from the one DSP hospital - Lenmed Randfontein- (we offer hundreds of private hospitals shout their splurbs, like hell, only 1 ONE for the entire Krugersdorp/ Randfontein / Mogale City catchment area and that one is certainly NOT the greatest) we now get told that we need AUTHORISATION from Boncap to see the orthopaedic surgeon. What absolute and utter ****. Bureaucratic red tape.

We have literally spent hours and hundreds and hundreds of rands worth of airtime trying desperately to get this authorisation from Boncap. Hundreds of rands of airtime which as indigent SASSA pensioners we cannot afford.

For the last 9 days it has been a back and forth between Boncap queries division, Boncap Specialist Referrals division and our GP trying to get this authorisation number. Meanwhile my wife is in constant pain, and her daily activities are severely hampered. But do Boncap care? Like hell they do.

Every time we think we are getting somewhere we get pushed back another 5 steps WHY? Please can somebody explain to us why getting to see an orthopaedic specialist has become a mission impossible? No one just decides one day "ooh I fancy a day out, I think I'll go to the ortho". You go because there is no cartilage in your right knee and you have osteo arthritis (as proven by x-ray) and you are in constant extreme pain which hinders your walking, causes falls when your knee locks and stops you from doing everyday c****s.

A response OR BETTER YET AN AUTHORISATION NUMBER DIRECTLY FROM BONCAP (as we have done everything that Boncap has requested of us and our GP) would be much appreciated.

Boncaps bleating about moving to new administrators is wearing extremely thin now. Get your house in order and stop mucking around with all the bull **** red tape and give your paying clients SERVICE! SERVICE! SERVICE! which is what we pay for and deserve

If I could I'd give Bonitas a minus rating. It seems to me that the Boncap and Boncore plans have literally been pushed to the bottom of the heap and that as long as Bonitas is getting their money every month, they don't give a damn about their clients.
