Bonitas

I signed a debit order Bonitas to withdraw for my medical aid Boncap. November and December 2019, I noticed they were trying to withdraw R14000 00 per month, and the best is Absa charged me for not having enough in my account, but I never signed a debit order for R14000.00pm. I queried with Bonitas and was told I did not disclose my earnings for the new year, so they automatically increased my premium to the highest cover, needless to say that sort of money I dont have as I earn a military pension which is no where near R14000.00pm. I was advised that I would be provided with further information of another medical aid I could join. This was before lockdown started and as of yet have heard nothing even though I have tried corresponding. Needless to say my wife and I still have no medical aid.

Reviewer Update
Good day I have seen the review fro m Bonitas and am not amused, I am told my Medical aid was stopped in December but in January and February they still tried to take enough from my account for their highest cover without my permission. To myself I still believe their interest is not in their customer but greed, if I sign for a debit order for a specific amount who gives them the right to up the amount without my permission. When applying for the medical aid I told them I am a military pensioner receiving a military pension and I would like to use that money to ensure I have a medical aid for myself and my wife. Now why would my pension from the military suddenly increase, after all a pension is a pension. What Bonitas did was ********* and created havoc on my account as other debtors were also wanting their share of the balance of my pension.
