Bonita Medical Aid Sucks!

<p>My Cardiologist and I have been battling since December 2016 to get approval for the Watchman procedure to be done to my heart.<br />We’ve been sending information, test results etc and still no answer from Bonita’s.<br />I've suffered a pulmonary embolism due to my top left heart chamber not working. I also suffer from atrial fibrillation. The Watchman is a small device which will prevent the blood from clotting and prevent future strokes. I had a severe stomach bleed in 2016 which prevents me from taking blood thinning medication.<br />All I’m asking is a fair assessment of my case. Should I contribute to the procedure – say so, and let’s meet, sit around a table and discuss.<br />Please, adhere to my request - I'm at risk to suffer another stroke and no-one cares.</p> <p> </p>
