Hi My dad went to see Dr Lahur last week ,and she said she has to remove the tumors next week.

He went to see Dr Mellet but Dr Mellet said he is not going to touch the skin tumors and revered my dad to Dr Lahur. Now we hear alberton hospital where she does operation is not in scheme and Also not the pathology department where she would send the tumors

I need help sorting this out Is Dr Lahur contracted in with Boncap. Can my dad have operation without the 30% co payment for hospitalization and theater. He never goes to Doctor for nonsense and now that he is in pain and needs help nobody can help him and the one Doctor that is willing to help, the medical aid has issues, No other doctor has been willing to help him she is the only Dr that said she would remove the tumors.

What do you suggest we do from here?

DR Lahur did take photos of the above mentioned. And it is quite urgent that we get these skin tumours removed before it becomes a bigger issue. I don't get why with proper authorisation and referrals we cannot have this problem sorted out a.s.a.p I did give Dr Lahur the referral letter that Dr Mellet wrote and he paid R1200 at Dr Lahur's office for the consultation hoping that she would be able to do the operation, if we knew that the medical aid would have issues he would not have wasted the R1200
