Boncap , Bonitas

My mother, is a pensioner, 75 year old,, dependent on government pension. I pay my mother's monthly medical aid . She goes to see a GP twice a year. This year the GP recommended she go for a scan at a radiologist. The medical aid 'is limited to R1940 for radiology/pathology, per year. According to latest statement received, my mother's balance for radiology/pathology is R1200. The radiologist's bill was for R939. My mother receives an SMS advising her that the bill will not be paid by Boncap, due to benefits being depleted. Queried this by mail to the medical aid, no reply received as yet. My mother had to have a blood test done, prior to going for the sonar, which Boncap is paying only R168 for.... Even if the medical aid subtracts R168 from the balance of R1200, there should still be sufficient fund to cover R939 for sonar. Not sure how or why Boncap could say benefits are depleted. Calling Boncap, you get to speak with a call center agent that can not speak your language. Very frustrating and disappointing, that they can not then at least respond to mail sent to them.
