BEWARE OF BAD SERVICE FROM BONITAS, MEDICAL SCHEME

Over a year ago I submitted a claim to my medical fund, Boncap. They ignored my claim even after monthly queries. Then they rep**** with it is stale. I made contact with the Council for Medical aid Schemes who managed to get Boncap to acknowledge the claim. Boncap sent me a sms which read like this: Bonitas will credit member with R1292 on 27/02/2020. That date came and went, no payment was made. The next notice arrived with promise to make payment on 5/3/2020 and the next on 12/3/2020...still nothing. This experience with Bonitas made me cancel my membership and what do I get, a monthly notice that my debitorder was not met. No amount of phone calls result in anything positive. The Council for Medical Schemes also fell silent. They do not answer their phone, they do not reply to any quiry regarding the case (Council for Medical Schemes. Complaint nr : 74416) BEWARE.
