Application Process from hell
I app**** for the medical aid via Mercer Marsh at the end of November 2023, on the first of December I got an acceptance letter to sign and return to them, I did that and even recieved a query number as proof my email was received. I called yesterday to ask why when I try to login it says "Member has no benefits". I was told that I didn't fill in section 6 of the application, which I did and after they viewed the forms they stated that I did fill in every single section, I ask them why is my application pending although everything is done and all necessary documents are submitted, no one has an answer. I called again today, it's still the same story, no one knows anything at all... You do everything accordingly only to end up on the phone being placed on hold 10min at a time, only for everyone to say "I really don't know why this happened."

04 Jan 2024, 10:12I called again today, apparently my application has only now gone to underwriting even though I app**** over a month ago and during this time me and my dependent are not covered, and you still expect to collect the full amount when the time to collect your premium comes. The turn around time is 3 working days, so chances are that this will only be fixed next week Monday or Tuesday, so I'm uncovered for a quarter of the month basically.
