On 9 March 2026, we requested a quotation for corporate T-shirts, jeans, and shirts branded with our company logo from Bond Fleet/Promo. We received the pricing, and Debbie Dantu requested 100% upfront payment. We paid the full amount in advance, which, unfortunately, we have now learned was a mistake. We requested a sample T-shirt so that we could approve the artwork and the overall look of the T-shirts. After numerous follow-ups, with little to no response from Debbie for days at a time, she eventually delivered the sample. Her manner during the delivery was unprofessional and unpleasant. We were not satisfied with the original artwork, so we changed it. We then received a proof of the new artwork, which we approved and signed off. After that, we repeatedly asked Debbie for a delivery date, but she failed to give us proper feedback. We called, messaged, and emailed her several times, but she often did not respond. She then gave us various excuses, including stock issues, embroidery issues, and delivery issues. On Monday, 4 May 2026, after several attempts to contact her, she finally answered and advised my MD that the T-shirts were on the embroidery machine and still needed to be washed. She said she would deliver the goods either on Tuesday, 5 May 2026, or Wednesday, 6 May 2026. Tuesday and Wednesday passed with no delivery and no feedback from Debbie. I then contacted her again on Thursday, 7 May 2026, and she advised that the T-shirts were still not complete, giving further excuses. By that stage, we had been waiting close to two months for the T-shirts, jeans, and corporate shirts. I then requested a full refund, as we had not received any completed goods, and advised that we would take our business elsewhere. Debbie initially agreed to refund us. I emailed and sent her our banking details, but once again, she avoided responding. I then started following up regularly and eventually sent her a final written notice. She then advised that she would not be refunding us and would instead deliver the goods. On Monday, 11 May 2026, the delivery was delayed once again. We then advised Debbie that we would collect the goods ourselves. She provided the name and contact person of the company she uses for corporate branding, who were working on our T-shirts. I contacted that company directly and asked whether we could collect the T-shirts that same day. They were very professional and confirmed that we could collect them. We drove 40 minutes each way to collect the goods ourselves. When we asked the branding company when they had received the order, they advised that they had only received it on Thursday, 7 May 2026, the same day I had requested a refund from Debbie. This raises serious concerns about what had been done during all the weeks we had been waiting. When I opened the box of T-shirts, I discovered that the artwork and design were incorrect and did not match the artwork that we had approved and signed off. Debbie then arrived the next day, Tuesday, 12 May 2026, to deliver the jeans, which were also incorrect. I asked her to come and look at the T-shirts because they were wrong. She came up to our offices and behaved extremely unprofessionally, shouting at staff and causing a scene and coming up straight up to my MD with an aggressive demeanor. This entire experience has been extremely disappointing. We paid in full, received poor communication, faced repeated delays, had to collect the goods ourselves, and ultimately received items that were incorrect. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to stay FAR away from Debbie and her business!!
