Bad Bad Service and Food

It with great and huge disappointment that i went to Boma Emerald on Saturday the 6th June to celebrate my mother's 60th Birthday.We got there at 19h30, and dinner starts at 18h00 - 22h00. However,the food was COL and FINISHED and not much of a variety.When we asked the waitress to refill the servings,she said we should have been there at 18h00,so its first come first serve.Then why call the damn restaurant a buffet if its first come first serve?Why say you're open until 22h00 when food is finished by 19h30?How i wished that we could have went to Spur or Fish and Chips restaurant than to that cold tasteless pasta and rice we had.There was no food to accommodate the kids at all.Ive never in my entire life been to a buffet restaurant with low standards,empty serving dishes and no variety of food at all.I've been to Boma Emerald previously and the food was much better than it was this Saturday.I'm angry,disappointed and have been cheated.60years is a milestone and we wanted to celebrate it in style and appreciation for our mother.Its a pity we chose the wrong untactful restaurant to celebrate at!Boma Emerald should close done!They have reached its service by date.Sies!
