Shocking service from bolts batteries

A few months ago on a public holiday my car battery died. I contacted numerous battery outlets to assist. Unfortunately no one could assist me at 7am in the morning which is understandable.

Deon then answered the phone for Bolts Batteries which was great. He fitted a new battery. We paid him almost R3k plus a call out fee. I applauded for his service.

The months that followed proved to be everything but great service.

After month 1 I was experiencing issues with the battery. I notified him and said that we had charge the battery because it was dead. This happened more than 15 times over last few months. Then a week ago it died again and this time I had parked in 2 other cars and the way my vehicle was parked we couldnt charge the battery.

So we contacted Deon who then insisted we purchase a new battery. I was horrified. On his own admission he had said there must be a dead cell in the battery he fitted. He knew from the first month that there was a problem with the battery and I kept on breaking down.

He basically said it wasn't his problem and that it was the suppliers problem.

The most horrific service. During the months of me breaking down and having to charge the battery every time not once did he come over to check the battery or even change it for one that wasn't faulty. He in fact on occasions demanded I pay a call out fee of almost R1000 for him to check the battery.

So over a week ago, my partner removed he battery and we took the battery to Battery Centre as well as Goldwagen.... Deon had in fact installed the incorrect battery to my cark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So when I sent him a message about this he blocks me. Doesn't offer me my money back or try and rectify this -he blocks me.

I never complain. in fat this is the first time I am writing a complaint about absolutely shocking service.

Do not ever support this company.

The worst is - his no name brand battery is double the price of Battery Centre and Goldwagen. Plus a massive call out fee. His attitude is disgusting. His service is appalling

He is well aware I drive to Polokwane once a month - what if my car had died at a petrol station to or from Polokwane? What if something had happened to me I ask him these questions to which he responded it isnt his problem and then asked for a call out fee to test the battery. Is he running a clown operation. Install dud batteries and then make further money on call out fees?

So *********!!!!!!!!!! We are seriously disappointed.

Shocking service and *****ing money from people is not ok
