Unfair Decline ***

I am extremely frustrated with the way my Bolt driver application has been handled. My application was declined, and I strongly believe it is due to a ******** conviction from 2008 – nearly 17 years ago. I was only 23 at the time, and I have never committed any offense since. I’ve worked hard to turn my life around, and it is completely unjust to be punished for something that legally qualifies for expungement. Reckless driving and I was 23 and now I'm 40 yrs.

I have explained this countless times, and yet I keep getting generic responses from consultants who lack authority or discretion to make proper decisions. I am being sent in circles – asked to resubmit documents, get a police clearance, go to HURU – and yet no real progress is being made. I submit documents almost daily, but I’m still being declined without a clear answer.

I’m in the process of applying for expungement, but that takes time (up to 3 months). Must I remain unemployed and hopeless during that period? This system lacks fairness and humanity. People deserve second chances, especially when the law itself allows for records to be cleared after a decade. Bolt claims to empower drivers, but right now, I feel judged, dismissed, and powerless.

I urgently request that my matter be escalated to someone with the authority to properly assess my case. I am not just a number in a system – I am a person trying to earn a living with dignity.
