Scary experience with Bolt!

I recently experienced *****!!!

I selected a regular trip & double checked the info before submitting, the second a driver had accepted, he suddenly phoned me & asked where I am, I told him exactly where I was in Riversands he then said I'll call you when I get there. The second he hung up I looked at my screen & saw the App was showing he was 67 min away in Bekkersdaal.

I then called him & said I'm confused why the app is showing he is so far away... he said no it's signal, I'm in Diepsloot (Which made me suspicious, because I can understand location being incorrect by a few km or minutes difference.

My next thought was when this guy arrives I will check that the number plate matches. A few minutes later, he sent a message saying there in 4min. 4min later his number called me again, shortly after a suspicious vehicle had pulled into a nearby parking spot. I answered but he didn't talk (I suspect he was calling to see who would answer. He then suddenly cut the call, then charged me & cancelled the trip.

What I also found strange, the bolt App had quoted me R50 for that trip I had requested, but when it cancelled it just took R100 from my account!

I wanted a refund but it seems Bolt is uncontainable & the App doesn't give information on how to taje recourse, whilst this guy also continues to rip people off or probably worse.... this is ******** activity!

The other thought that went through my mind is the stories of people being kidnapped, ****** & sometimes held captive for days. This experience has made me doubt my safety as a woman traveling alone with Bolt.

Luckily I did a screenshot of the driver's profile & evidence of how far he was away.... He shouldn't have been able to select me, being so far away....
