Pathetically unreliable service in Durban KZN. Drivers accept trip requests and then cancel when arriving at pick up point. Following this, another driver accepted my request, he was initially 2 mins away, the trip time then changed to 10 mins. When I texted asking why, he said he turned around to go back home but would come to me after. A few other drivers accepted my request and called me shortly after asking where I’d be paying cash after monies has been deducted from my account. When I said no, they’d drop the call and cancel on me.

I cancelled at least 9 trips before I managed to get a driver who then told me that they’d much rather get paid cash because bolt charges hefty fees and they don’t make much.

I’ve never experienced this service in Johannesburg, it seems that in KZN, the service is disgustingly unreliable and drivers are extremely rude and unprofessional.

As a result of this I am now an hour late for a medical conference.
