Fees Doubled Due to a strike

Today 12 October I had to pay R169 for a trip I take daily which normally costs me around R69. When I enquired from the driver he advised me that there was a strike and the fees are higher due to that. Could someone please explain why paying customers should be penalized for your strike actions? I want to be refunded. This is *****ing from your loyal customers!
