BOYCOT BOLT SOUTH AFRICA!!!

On 25 August 2025, my car was hit from behind with a Bolt car while I had my 6year old child in the car and standing still at the traffic light in Johannesburg Rd. - Modderfontein. The guy was on his phone, obviously. I was told he doesn't have insurance and learnt that Bolt SA doesn't even have their drivers registered as employees so I can’t even claim from him or them. My question is… why is this even allowed and why aren't they, Bolt SA boycotted because they are transporting people with no insurance. Is it just easier to say “Sorry, I dont have insurance” and then just walk away? It will be as good as hitching a ride in one of our “most loved”, “proudly South African” taxi’s. A case was opened but feel one should be made against the driver for reckless and negligent driving because he was on the phone and not paying attention. Always at our expense and guilty parties doesn't take accountability. It’s a total disgrace as I have R26 000 worth of damage and have to pay the R6 000 excess and missing OUT on my bonus payout for the next 3 years with my insurance.
