Bolt Send- *****s your items

I made use of the bolt send facility on Saturday 01/06/2024 to deliver a few items. It was a box of groceries and 4 cases of Pepsi. The driver came through and collected the stuff, I paid him and he was off. Mind you, I've used Bolt send before. I had no issues. The person who received these items then phones me to tell me that most of the items are missing as per the list I sent, 1 case of Pepsi was damaged and leaking. I notified Bolt by means of email and I was asked so many questions which I answered. They then tell me I need to open up a case of theft against the driver. They cannot assist me.

My question is, why should I report the driver, I have no dealings with the driver as he isn't a private driver. I have used the services of Bolt and they should hav some sort of insurance in place should matters as such arise.

I do not have time to run around when Bolt is a legitimate company but are not screening their drivers but are quick to run away when there is an issue.

There is no longer trust, honesty or integrity.
