BOLT DRIVER HARASSED MY KIDS

I would like to share **********, horrific, terrible, traumatising experience that my kids had today the 21st of October 2021 with a Bolt driver by the name of Edzisani (I will not share his vehicle registration on this platform). He collected them from Hyde Park High School to drop them off at my work place in Newtown, he sounded irritated when we spoke on the phone when I spoke to him even before the kids got into the car.

On the way they asked to withdraw money from an fnb atm and the atm was not working, when they got to the second garage where he also poured petrol into his car and while the kids waited for him with no complaints, the same garage where they withdrew money to pay him. He gave me a call and he was so rude to me and threatened to leave the kids in the middle of now where because of going into a garage.

He dropped off my kids in the middle of nowhere and he was even threatening to bit up my daughter, he even went as far as getting out of the car harassing the kids. He should be used to treating customers like this because he threated that he will have his money whether I like it or not, which I didn't give him because I first wanted to report this to Bolt. The amount was R72.00 which I can pay at anytime once Bolt has dealt with the matter. By the grace of God they were helped by a security guard and they had to walk to a nearby garage.

This is disheartening because as parent we trust that all Bolt drivers are taken through some tests before being registered to providing their services. How will we then trust their services when our children are harassed and abused by people whom we trust to transport them safely. We use these services with the hope that their safety is secured, I guess I was wrong.

Bolt needs to better their services as we have heard many complaints regarding the services that some of their drivers provide. Of course it is not all drivers but there are some really unprofessional ones, harassing kids is just not acceptable, that is on another level.
